Tue, 21 November 2006 ![]() Whilst alternative energy sources such as wind, solar and nuclear are being explored, one source of energy that appears to remain 'under the radar' is hot-rock energy. Professor Mike Sandiford, a Research Fellow at the School of Earth Sciences, University of Melbourne, believes hot rock energy could be used to generate electricity for Australia within the next decade.
